Ed and the troops need some supplies to keep them comfortable in Afghanistan. We will use this dinner as a drop off point so the Feds can send a care package to thank them for their service.
Here is some ideas:
- Foods that you can add water and eat (instant soup, instant anything)
- Healthy snacks (it is a lot easier to skip or miss a meal if you have something to chew on)
- Individual packets for Gatorade and other drinks (it helps in the heat)
- M&Ms (everyone needs al little chocolate now and then)
- Nuts (all nuts are an easy to carry/store source of protein)
- Soap and other items
- Socks and other clothes of necessity (Remember, knee high socks to help us combat the disease-carrying sand flies)
