The SigEp Feds have teamed up with the alumni ladies of ΔΖ to host social mixer at CarPool lounge, bar and grill. Details can be found below. We hope you can make it.
Why: It will be nice to sit outside, enjoy a cold drink, and socialize. There is also darts, pool and other fun entertainment to check-out. So come out for our happy hour and even do so good old-fashioned networking too!
Brother Armie Cortinez was kind enough to put this video together for us from the SigEp Feds and ΚΔ Mixer on February 7, 2009. Sure puts me in the mood for Spring and Summer events with the SigEp Feds. What do you think? Leave us a comment below.
Brothers, we have had a lot of feedback come to us about the SigEp Feds Cat in the Hat Month event. Here are just a couple of the kind words we have received about two of our participants on Read Across America Day.
To the SigEp Feds,
I just wanted to let you know that Roger Gilbertson came in last week, Wednesday because of the weather, and the kids had a fantastic time. He was a great Dr. Seuss representative and it was definitely a fun break from the normal everyday operations. We definitely want to stay on your list for next year!
Thank you,
Samantha Long Education Director Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington Mary & Daniel Loughran Clubhouse #10 2500 14th Street NW Washington, DC 20009
Hi,
Thank you very much for the opportunity for Ed Potter to read to our students. He did a great job the students really enjoyed it. We would definitely like to do this again next year.

Did you read to children during Cat in the Hat Month? Please submit any feedback received to Will Hull, Technology Chair of the SigEp Feds and we'll publish it here.
Many thanks to those who participated in this year's Cat in the Hat Month, it was a huge sucess and a special thanks to Brandt Heatherington, who organized the event for us. Thanks, big guy, we couldn't have done it without you.
Below is a message from Brother, Brandt Heatherington. We are still looking for volunteers for Cat in the Hat Month. Please contact Brandt and let him know that you would like to participate.
Brothers: An outstanding effort! We will be reading in over a dozen schools in March and introducing kids to the magic of our brother Theodore Geisel's work, a.k.a. Doctor Seuss! We still need to cover two schools that have requested a reader and they are listed below. Please step up and give us a hand! Every SigEp who has done this has had a wonderful experience.
We still need [a] reader(s) for the following location:

Last night, we had a wonderful mixer with the alumni ladies of ΚΔ. In fact, we have a couple pictures documenting the evidence. Armie, who is pictured a couple times, was on ice skates for the first time. I was there with my daughter for about an hour and caught a couple pictures and chatted a bit with everyone.
In all, there were five representatives from each organization making for a quaint but fun turnout.
Please feel free to click on any of the pictures below for a larger view. I can't wait until we do this again.
